ATDI - 80

This engine is the result of a joint effort with
Advance Turbine Design and
Orbital Machine Works, although designed for use as a
Glider sustainer
propulsion system, this engine would be suitable for many other applications
such as propulsion systems for UAV's, Experimental aircraft, the engine core
could also be developed into a Ground power generation unit up to 50kw. This
technology has been previously demonstrated at Advance Turbine Design. With it's
robust construction and the latest state of the art micro turbine technology and
hundreds of hours of both ground and flight testing this turbo jet is a proven
performer.
Pictured below is the ATDI - 80 lb thrust Turbo jet Engine featuring a newly
developed brushless electric starter and a 1kw PMG Generator.
